“Praça do Comércio” won the PEDRO OSÓRIO AWARD for best Portuguese album in 2017, awarded by the Sociedade Portuguesa de Autores.
It feautures several musicians, such as the Canadian James Hill (ukulele), José Manuel Neto (Portuguese guitar), Pedro Jóia (viola) and Norberto Gonçalves da Cruz (mandolin). António Zambujo, Olga Cerpa (Canaries), Chney Wa Gune (Mozambique), Luanda Cozetti (Brazil) and others also lended their voices to the record.
Júlio Pereira has released over 20 author records and participated on about 80 records by other artists as a player, orchestrator or producer.
